Lots of ideas that are a part of only science-fiction novels and movies through the rapidly developing technology are continuing to enter our lives. Robots are one of those ideas. In 1920s, the term ‘’robot’’ that the Czech writer Karel Capek mentioned in a science-fiction play, came alive primarily in the field of industry and nowadays in various fields such as military, medical, education and social life. In addition, terms such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and deep learning have become widely mentioned topics. Besides, it is predicted that robots will be able to work in fields that are mostly operated by humans now. Well, how can robots learn topics that even humans have difficulties in learning or developing skills? Or what exactly can they learn? What’s more, can they succeed in a field as challenging as teaching? Are robot teachers possible? Or are they also just science-fiction ideas that were produced in 1920-1970.
